Purchase: I was looking for a mid range saddle that was leather and wool flocked. I came across this model from Schneider's Saddlery. It regularly cost $875 and I got it for $575.
Likes: I couldn't believe how nice this saddle actually is. The leather is soft and supple. I ordered a 18" regular tree and luckily it fit really well to my hard to fit horse. The seat is roomy and it keeps me centered. The knee rolls are nice without being overly bulky.
Dislikes: There really isn't anything I don't like about this saddle.
Quality: This saddle looks similar to more expensive models. The leather is soft and supple. It is wool flocked but I don't know about the construction of the tree.
Summary: I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for. This saddle exceeded my expectations in regards to its look and quality. Overall I am very happy with it.
Usefulness Rating: 3.16667 out of 5.
