Purchase: I bought these at Adams Horse Supply. They are listed at $44.00 a pair but I got them on a 20% sale. They do have the different sizes on the web site as well.
Likes: I have a 17.2 warmblood cross mare that also is klutzy and will bang up her hocks on sand getting up. I really like the breathability of these wraps and they will be easily washable.
Dislikes: I went with the recommendation of the other reviewer on this web site and bought the warmblood size since my mare is over 17 hands. I have found that they are way too big. I don't know if my mare's legs are a lot thinner than the other person's horse but these almost wrap around her legs twice so the velcro straps are too long to hold the wraps properly in place. My mare is built more like a thoroughbred so I am thinking that horse size might work on her.
Quality: They are well constructed and considering how much my mare probably rubs them on the ground laying down and getting up at night they are not showing much wear.
Summary: I am probably going to order the smaller size and see how they fit. I have used the neoprene hock wraps and was happy with how well they fit and how well they stayed in place, they just didn't stand up to the wear and tear that my mare put on them. The Cashel's also breathe a lot better since they are fabric. From the warmblood pair that I bought, I would suggest only getting that size if you have a horse that is tall and built like a draft horse.
