Purchase: I bought this saddle in very new-like condition at a tack sale for $600. I needed a good saddle to show western in. I was showing local shows at the time.
Likes: It has pretty tooling. Good color. For local shows it's perfect.
Dislikes: As time went on the leather on the fenders got soft, too soft. It darkened a lot but maybe that's because I can only afford one saddle to show and train in. The silver quality is fair. It doesn't chip off or anything but it's not top of the line either. The back of it started stretching out across my horse's hips. The tree is narrow on her withers and so it doesn't quite pinch her but she's much better off with a wider tree so her shoulders aren't so restricted. Also, the screws on the front came loose and so the latigo holder thing fell off.
Quality: Good quality construction but it's just not the highest quality materials.
Usefulness Rating: 2.9 out of 5.
