Purchase: I found this saddle one ebay, the seller did not know the value of this saddle. It is over 50 years old and I was able to get it for $160.
Likes: Very durable, it is from the 1950's and it is still in great working condition. The tree is very solid as is the horn, and the quality and craftsmanship is unbeatable. Just a beautiful saddle.
Dislikes: The stirrups had no buckles, only laces. This makes them rather difficult to adjust. Otherwise, I love everything about this saddle.
Quality: Very strongly built, made to withstand decades of hard work. The leather is incredibly tough and has beautiful tooling.
Summary: I absolutely love this saddle, I would definitely buy another Bona if I had the money for these rarities.
