Purchase: I paid $80 for these breeches at a tack store in Oregon. I was looking for a comfortable pair of breeches suitable for 3-season use.
Likes: I like the microcord fabric; it's comfortable in all but the coldest weather, repels horsehair with a quick flick of the hand, and is quite forgiving of figure flaws. It is also machine washable and can be tossed in the dryer as well! The breeches are available in black, tan, dark brown, and steel, which is a charcoal/medium-grey color.
Dislikes: I like these breeches a lot, but it would be nice if Kerrits had included a small, zippered pocket. Not a big deal, though!
Quality: These breeches are quite sturdy; the fabric isn't flimsy at all. I like the wide waistband with belt loops, and the waistband "hits" just at the right spot, neither too high nor too low! Also, the breeches have elastic at the ankles which stays put! There are no inner-leg seams, and the Clarino knee patches are comfortable and securely stitched.
Summary: These are really nice breeches for everyday riding, either in the ring or out on the trail. I have found I can't go wrong with Kerrits. They always provide reliable clothing that's easy to care for and lasts a long time!
