Purchase: I received this saddle from a friend who sold it to me for $300. She paid $900 new for it 10 years ago and only used it five times.
Likes: I like the deep seat, it feels very secure and it is very comfortable.
Dislikes: The flaps are too far forward and put me into a chair seat. Plus the tree is too narrow for my horse.
Quality: Very good quality leather, very well-put together. The leather is very soft and pliable and isn't cracked or anything.
Summary: This is a great saddle to have if you are jumping. If it's for flatwork, then I would honestly suggest looking at a close contact saddle.
