Purchase: I bought these half chaps 8 years ago from Dover Saddlery and I think I paid like $80.00 for them then.
Likes: I just cant seem to beat these chaps down!!! I am very rough on them and ride in brush and rough country. I also get off my horse and hike a bit especially when the footing is tough or the trail is narrow. I like them because they protect me and keep my jeans from slipping around when I ride. I also like them because I wear them over the Ariat All Terrains and they fit over them too. I have even thrown them in the wash when they get really yucky!!
Dislikes: Would like them better if they made me look thinner and younger.....
Quality: Excellent, hard wearing, not really for shiny show types, but they would have done the job when they were brand new I guess.
Summary: Would buy again, hope they don't change them too much.
