Purchase: We have purchased two gaited breeds of horses and we were researching gaited saddles. I was intrigued by the look of the Crest Ridge saddles, they looked well built and comfortable. After contacting Debra we found out about other gaited horse people in the area who had these saddles and were able to see one "up close". After that I had to have one! Debra was so helpful in finding out what saddle best fit my riding needs. We paid $1450. for our Ovation with free shipping and it is worth every penny!
Likes: I love the comfortable seat, especially after 6 or 7 hours in it! My horses love how the saddle fits and I can tell they are moving more relaxed with freer shoulder movement. The light leather fenders are like a close contact saddle making the Ovation the best of western/english and endurance. The v-rigging really holds the saddle in place even on steep hills. And the seat design puts the rider in the correct position.
Dislikes: There is nothing I don't like about this saddle. And I really mean that!
Quality: The leather is high quality and the seat very soft. I got the show brown and it is very rich looking in color and design. I'm very pleased with the look and impressed with the quality. It is an impressive looking saddle.
Summary: What can I say, I love my saddle! Debra was so helpful and the process of measuring was easy. I would highly recommend the Crest Ridge saddles to all gaited horse enthusiasts. Happy Trails!
