Purchase: Living in canada, our springs and falls can get quite muddy because of the quick snow melting. I decided it was a great idea to get my new horse a rain sheet. I had been looking for one for a while when one of my friends bought one for her horse. It turned out to be too small so I bought it off her for 100$. At the store, it is worth about 200$.
Likes: I love it!! My horse is out 24/7 with 20 other horses. She has had it on her ever since I bought it(3 weeks) and it doesn't even have a tear! It is made of ballistic nylon and a 1200Denier shell. It is completely waterproof. All the stitching is extremely strong (ive seen many horses chew and pull on the tail flap). The underside is also very soft and it doesn't slip on your horse. It also has that little fleece wither pad.
Dislikes: There isn't much to say here! I guess the only thing I wished was that the tail flap was bigger and that the shoulder gussets would extend more and were a little further back. That's about it though!
Quality: The quality is outstanding. The outer shell it so strong! It is also very easy to wash. It shows that it has the same quality as an original Weatherbeeta blanket did way back when. They payed a lot of attention in the comfort on this one, that's for sure!
Summary: I would recommend this sheet to ANYONE who lives in a muddy place or has many horses in one field. I also recommend it to people looking for just a little wind stopping and anti-wetness during the winter.
