Purchase: I purchased this pad for $200 online. I already had a Mattes pad for my Arab, but needed one to fit my Warmblood.
Likes: This pad is NICE! I give it two thumbs up! I love how the pad is "ergonomically shaped" to allow quilting where it's needed and keeps out of the rider/horse's way. The sheepskin is luxurious and soft. My horse loves it. I got a custom color and it matches all my other tack beautifully. Last but not least, it's SPINE FREE! Yipee! :-)
Dislikes: The price is out there, but this is pad is great quality. If you can find one used in excellent shape, I'd nab it!
Quality: This pad is made in Poland. It's ergonomically shaped. It has genuine merino sheepskin panels with a spine free chamber for air circulation and removes pressure off the horse's spine. It has rolled sheepskin front and heavy cotton quilting that lasts. The pad is seamless underneath to prevent any discomfort to your horse, which is rare to find in other pads. It has velcro billet keeper straps and is easy to undo if you forget to put a stirrup leather underneath the keeper, you just simply unvelcro it and re-do it for convenience.
Summary: AWESOME Pad! I will happily buy another! Most importantly my horses love them and it keeps them cool and dry after strenuous workouts.
