Purchase: I bought this saddle from the Running Fox tack shop. It cost around 4,000 new.
Likes: This is a very good quality, well made saddle. The soft leather on the seat and knee rolls is very grippy and comfortable. The saddle is correctly balanced and I always feel secure, even over larger fences. I ride a variety of warmblood type horses in this saddle, and it fits all of them relatively well.
Dislikes: The leather on the flaps is wearing significantly, leaving lighter colored patches. Also it seems that the tree has spread a little over the two years that I have ridden in it.
Quality: The stitching is very neat and secure, and nothing is loose or ripping. The leather is top quality and a lovely color. My only complaints are listed above; the wear on the flaps and the widening tree.
Summary: This is a beautiful saddle, top notch! For those who can afford it, it is worth the hefty price tag.
