Purchase: I bought this saddle in college (MI) for a little less than $1000.
Likes: The saddle is extremely comfortable and well balanced. Just the right amount of contact with the horse and I like that the seat isn't too deep - could easily go from a light seat for the hunters to a deeper seat for equitation. Fit most everything I put it on that wasn't super meaty. I've had it for almost 10 years and it has held up very well.
Dislikes: I had to have the D-rings repaired after a breastplate popped them out. The flap leather needed extra work to break in - it is a little thick, but I think that contributed to longevity in the end
Quality: Very sturdy. Thread pulled a bit after a few years of heavy use but easily repaired. No problems with billets, tree or flap construction.
Summary: This saddle was a real workhorse for me, and folks with more expensive saddles would even comment on its comfort when they rode my horse. Would use it for 10 more years.
