Purchase: Starting back into hunters after a several year hiatus, needed a good solid close contact saddle. Bought at Hockessin, DE Dover store. Paid $600 on sale.
Likes: I love this saddle...probably my favorite of all I've owned. The panels have fit every single horse I tried it on, and it has worn in wonderfully. It's comfortable for me to ride in all day at a show, and it allows my horse freedom to move. The havana color was very easy to match to leathers and a bridle also.
Dislikes: After one season of showing, the seat and top of the flaps show wear from use, which struck me as odd because it's very fast. It's nothing a little oil doesn't minimize, it's just a little annoying that it happened on a brand new saddle.
Quality: I would say the saddle is made very well. Excellent quality. Very supple leather and comfortable seat.
Summary: I would certainly recommend the saddle to anyone. It's a correct, secure saddle. Make sure you have the right oil for it though, because you'll need it!
