Purchase: I bought this from Victory Canter for $35.95, to reduce my pasture-kept mare's boredom from being confined to stall rest.
Likes: It's durable and keeps her attention. I like to stick a few carrots on it around lunchtime and it keeps her occupied all afternoon. I like that there are no really hard parts so if she gets it swinging and it hits her in the head, it won't hurt her.
Dislikes: The second string seems odd to me. I guess you could tie it horizontally across a stall open window, but when hanging vertically like I have seen in most pictures, the second string just hangs there. I cut it off.
Quality: Very durable, but definitely hang it so the horse can't push it up against a wall. It's meant to hang free.
Summary: This is a great product. It is inexpensive to "refill" with goodies (vs. Likit, and others like it). And I feel good because the treats I use (like carrots) are all natural.
