Wintec Pro (2009) with Contourblocs
Model: Wintec Pro (2009) with Contourblocs
Category: Dressage Saddles
Purchase: I ordered this saddle from The Hitching Post Tack shop in Middleburg, KY. (Wonderful customer service!) I paid $799.00
Likes: Yesterday,4/15/09, my new 2009 Wintec Pro with Contourblocs arrived. Having been without a dressage saddle for a week, I was so excited to see it! Schooling dressage in my HDR Pro Jump was.....icky.
I opened the box to find one of the most wonderfully styled saddles I have ever laid eyes on. From the graceful knee blocks to the super wide gullet (fits more than 5 fingers!) to the softly flocked panels.....I couldn't wait to see if it fit the pony as I had hoped it would.
After a good grooming....the moment of truth. It melted into her back like it was made for her! The joy! I girthed it up, put my fittings on it and decided to take her for a spin around the yard to see how it felt.
Granted I was in my cotton dress pants and muck boots (wasn't planning on riding!) but this saddle is the answer I have been searching for! It fit me like it was made for me and I have never felt my horse round her back into a saddle like she did last night. We did a little trot up the side yard and a collected canter around the apple trees and man was it nice. (field out back still too soft for riding...these were the only spots in the yard where she wouldn't leave divots in the turf..)
The support.....the grip...the feeling.....
Will be trucking out today for a more thorough work out.......
The new 2009 Wintec Pro with contourblocs gets an A+ from us!
Dislikes: There is absolutely nothing I didn't like about this saddle. Wintec has outdone themselves this time!
Quality: The construction is far superior to any other synthetic dressage saddle on the market. The materials are of high quality and styling very pleasing to the eye.
Summary: I would like to give the design team at Wintec a huge hug! They have come out with a superior saddle for those of us who don't have Thousands to spend on tack and equipment. This saddle is balanced, secure, lovely to look at, kind to the horse, easy to care for......who could ask for more?
