Purchase: I believe I got these chaps on equestriancollections.com, for around $50. I bought them some time ago, so I can't be positive. I wanted a higher quality of half chaps than the no brand suede ones I had been using, as much as I liked those.
Likes: These half chaps are very stylish. Not just your regular, simple chaps. They offer an hourglass shape, so that the chap fits to your leg, unlike others that will be quite loose around the ankle. The zipper on the back made is easy to put on, stays on, and doesn't look odd, like ones on the side can. There are full leather guards over the zippers, so they are protected. The leather is very good quality, smooth, and durable. I really love these half chaps!
Dislikes: I don't think there is anything I don't like. When I first got them they were a tad snug, but they have formed perfectly to my leg now.
Quality: Very well put together, the stretch panel ensures a good fit, and hasn't stretched out like some do. I have had them for at least two years and the zipper is going strong! The mesh is still as beautiful as ever, and the leather is not worn at all. I expect that they will last me at least another two or three years.
Summary: I would recommend these chaps to anyone and everyone! Comfortable, not hot, stylish, and long lasting. Really great!
