Purchase: I was looking for a bareback pad to make the bareback experience a little more pleasurable and secure. I purchased my best friend bareback pad from Victory Canter for about $65.
Likes: It provides a great grip- for both horse (doesn't shift on my horse at all) and rider, but yet it doesn't make you feel stuck to it either. It comes in several colors- I chose hunter green. It also came with its own girth that fit my horse great and has enough length to probably accommodate most horses. It makes bareback riding a lot more fun and comfortable!
Dislikes: It hasn't bothered me, because it doesn't slide on my horse, but it doesn't offer any D rings for a breastplate, should you need them.
Quality: The construction seems good- I've been using mine now a couple of months and have had no problems. Pretty simply to just wipe down too.
Summary: I think that this brand offers great fit, function and value and would recommend it.
