Purchase: I first discovered the product when I was looking for something to improve my horse's hooves, they were so brittle and weak that the farrier had to glue shoes onto his feet. After researching various products on the internet I came across the farrier association website which had an article about this new product used for horses with poor quality hooves. So I went to the manufacturer's website, www.deltahoofcare.com, and found a list of their dealers, and ordered it from GA Farrier Supply. This particular product was $30...but lasted 4 months, with me using it daily, and was well worth it.
Likes: What I liked about this product is that it actually worked! My horse's feet improved dramatically within a short period of time (about 2 months). He is now able to keep all 4 shoes on his feet and my farrier commented on how great his feet were. It is an amazing product, which I feel is superior to the alternative, "Tuff Stuff", which I had used before I tried Crossapol. I also feel as if this product saved me from spending money on costly hoof supplements.
Dislikes: Only thing I dislike is the bottle is small, and turns brown with repeated use because of the contamination of the dirt off your horses feet, even though I had cleaned them before hand...it is hard to get all the dirt off.
Quality: Awesome!
Summary: I really think this product worked for me, and I think that if your horses has problem feet and nothing else has worked...I encourage you to try this stuff out! There is also lots of imformation on this product on the delta hoof care and the farrier association websites:) In addition, many other useful hoof care products.
