Purchase: I initially purchased a Guffey model for a wide-backed, hard-to-fit mare and absolutely loved it - as does my mare. Fortunately I can also use it on her son - a gorgeous big mule.
When hubby bought me a gaited Rocky for my 50th birthday, it was a foregone conclusion to go back to Deb for a saddle for Jazz. Initially I bought the Crusade Elite (Synthetic) and she did very well in it. Then I came into some money and decided to treat myself to an all-leather trail saddle. I'd fallen in love with the Sinclair - and it is EVERYTHING I'd hoped for.
Likes: There's NOTHING I don't like about it. The workmanship if phenomenal, and the attention to detail is evident in every stitch. The comfort is second to none for long hours on the trail. My little mare is all heart - and loves her new saddle and wool pad.
Dislikes: Nothing!
Quality: Absolute perfection - the detail is immaculate and the simplicity speaks for itself. Easy to care for - lots of rings, ties, etc. Perfect trail saddle. I love the free-swinging english-style leathers and the seat is fabulous - comfortable without being hot.
Summary: The products this company provides, as well as the customer service, is unbelievable. No question is dumb - no horse insignificant. The knowledge and skill base is certainly worth tapping into! When I started learning about saddle fit, I was horrified to realize how little I knew! LOL Deb is my equines' guardian angel!
