Purchase: I bought this fly mask at a tack auction, brand new for about $10. I needed another one for my new horse, and thought this would do well.
Likes: I like the neoprene type material around the edges of the fly mask, to prevent rubs. It stayed very well, and was not susceptible to fraying. The mesh is light but durable, and worked well for its purpose. I liked at first that the crown piece was adjustable.
Dislikes: The elastic on the crown piece and throat latches is not durable at all. I had not used it for more than a month before it it was noticeably stretched. It got so long I had to tie knots in it in order for it to fit my horse.I was surprised that the throat pieces did that as well.
Quality: Besides that elastic, it is very well constructed. Would have lasted probably another few years.
Summary: I really like this mask, and wish that the elastic had not stretched. I am still going to use it, just with the knots in the elastic for fit. Not bad, but some what disappointing.
