Model: Isabell with Cair
Category: Dressage Saddles
Purchase: I purchased this saddle online for about $1,000 from either Dover or State Line in 2004 because I ride several different horses and wanted the ability to change the tree. The farm where I used to work had an Isabell for lessons and it worked great for everyone while holding up very well under heavy use.
Likes: This saddle is reasonably priced, holds up under very heavy use and fits a variety of horses. I've read reviews about horses with especially wide backs having an issue with the Isabell, but then maybe this saddle isn't right for that kind of horse. I personally have never found a horse that the saddle doesn't fit, never found a rider who wasn't comfortable in the saddle and it looks like new after 5 years.
Dislikes: I honestly can't think of anything I don't like about this saddle.
Quality: It looks like new after years of heavy use in lessons and on various horses.
Summary: Reasonable price. Comfortable. Versatile as far as different horses and riders. Sturdy.
Usefulness Rating: 0 out of 5.
