Purchase: Bought two of them from Gotreeless.com each for about 1200.
Likes: On the contrary to previous reviews, I find both of these saddles to produce exceptional results from several of my Arabian horses. One gelding was having a great deal of trouble bending and carrying me in various dressage saddles, when I switched to a Torsion saddle, his movement improved drastically. I highly recommend this saddle when the rider is having difficulty fitting a saddle to his/her horse. His back was able to lift and round, I use this saddle for long trail riding, too, with great results.
Dislikes: The billets are super wide and I have difficulty using roller buckles on girths other than Torsion made girths. They will fit, but are extremely tight. I actually, cut off the the Torsion billets and replaced them with thinner leather strips!
Quality: Otherwise, the Torsion is excellently manufactured and has stood up to much use.
Summary: I not only would recommend the Torsion dressage saddle, but when my barn burned down and I had to replace my tack, the only thing I was concerned about was replacing my Torsion saddles.
