Purchase: I bought this saddle from Apple saddlery for $525.00 sale price. I already own the Wintec 500 All purpose, and would like to try the dressage 500. I made monthly payments on it, and took my 5 months to get it.
Likes: I can't say enough good things about Wintec! This saddle is amazing, I love and my horse loves the CAIR panels, very comfortable seat for the rider.
Dislikes: I find not just with Wintec, but with all synthetic saddles, they tend to slip back, so I just use a breast plate to remedy this problem. The other thing is that one of the holes where you screw the new gullet into broke. It took 2 hrs and a lot of blood and tears to change the gullets. Never had this problem with my other Wintec, my have been just a faulty one, but because it took to long to receive it, I never sent it back, I just decided that I would endure the blood and sweat to change the gullet. I don't need to change it that often anyway.
Quality: Very good construction, the picture of the Wintec 500 looks kind of grey and shiny, but when I received the saddle, it looked great! not an ugly gray or shiny, a nice black color and not shiny. just Beautiful!
Summary: I will definitely get more Wintec in the future.
