Purchase: I got my saddle off of eBay slightly used for $400 in early 2009.
Likes: The leather is very nice and soft. The seat is just deep enough to provide security when I'm riding difficult horses, but not deep to where I'm struggling to get out of it. In addition, the regular flap accommodated my long thigh nicely.
Dislikes: The leather marks up VERY easily. The knee rolls get scuffed up from the stirrup leathers lightly rubbing against them, and the flap is showing wear pretty easily. They disappear with conditioning, but after every ride there are new marks. Also, I cannot ride in jeans because the seat marks/scratches so easily.
Quality: My saddle has a few issues, but it is used. The saddle seems to be good quality. The billets are strong, and the tree fits spot on. The panels are very hard though, and since my saddle was only slightly used, I don't believe that is the cause.
Summary: This is a very nice saddle for the budget and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good work or show saddle.
