Category: Trail Saddles
Purchase: Black western saddle with suede seat, and square skirts. Bought brand new locally for about 350.
Likes: That I wasn't on the saddle when it fell apart.
Dislikes: That it fell apart in under 2 minutes on my bucking mare.
Quality: Extremely poor construction. Rivets are tiny, and barely connected, if at all. I couldn't see this until my mare demolished the saddle while bucking. Not only did the cinch tear loose, one whole side tore loose. This thing is totally unsafe! I'm lucky I wasn't in it at the time, and that my mare didn't get hurt. I didn't realise the Kings are made in India.
Summary: Spend the extra money, and be safe. A local tack shop told me of some folks that unfortunately were on the saddle when it gave way. They don't sell it. Unless you are ready to walk into the light, avoid this brand.
Usefulness Rating: 2.5 out of 5.
