Purchase: I purchased this saddle almost new from a lady that rode at my barn. I paid $1800 and it was only a year old and barely ridden in!!! They usually run around $3500 new.
Likes: I absolutely love this saddle. I have had four horses since I bought this saddle five years ago and it has fit each of them great. I used to ride hunters in this saddle and then switched to the 3;6"-4" jumpers and this saddle was great for both. It puts you in perfect form and is very supportive over fences, even though I bought the model that doesn't have knee rolls. It is the most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden in!
Dislikes: Love everything about it!!!
Quality: This saddle is made of very high quality French leather. This particular saddle does not have knee rolls (my preference) but most other Steinkraus's that I have seen do have knee rolls.
Summary: Best saddle on the market...would recommend it to anyone!!!
Usefulness Rating: 1.75 out of 5.
