Purchase: I bought this saddle from a local dealer for $645 brand new. I have a hard to fit gaited gelding and after having him fitted this saddle fit us best.
Likes: It's a gorgeous saddle, and one of the most comfortable saddles I've ever sat in. I'll be able to show in it as well as trail ride. The fenders turned after one night, it doesn't creak and squeal like a lot of new saddles. I love the high cantle and pommel, and it's not extremely wide like a lot of mens saddles.
Dislikes: The only thing I would want different is the fenders could be a little shorter, but I have short legs.
Quality: The saddle is made very well. The tree is wood and has a 5 year guarantee, and the saddle itself is satisfaction guaranteed so if anything comes unraveled or anything I take it back and they fix it.
Summary: I love this saddle. It's pretty AND completely usable. I would definitely buy another Dakota, and would recommend them to anyone that wants a nice saddle but can't pay thousands for it.
