Purchase: I buy these directly from the company, have them shipped every 4 weeks April through September, for three horses, and pay $14 a month. I have been using these for four years now.
Likes: Arbico is a great company. They stand behind what they sell are are very helpful. Once, my fly parasites arrived and were all hatched and many were dead (the post office took too much time to deliver them). I called and Arbico sent me a new batch right away, no cost, and shipped them FedEx overnight for free. Another time, we had a frost and I was afraid it had killed off the fly parasites that I had put out the night before. Again, Arbico sent me a free batch.
The fly eliminators work great! We park our manure spreader in the barn and only dump it once/week. People are amazed when they come into our barn, walk past the manure spreader in the heat of the summer, and there is not one fly to be seen anywhere. It takes me about 10 minutes once every four weeks to spread them around our property.
Dislikes: I wish the fly parasites worked on horse and deer flies; they do not, but they are not advertised that way either.
Quality: Great!
Summary: I will never go another year without using fly parasites. I like the Arbico Fly Eliminators (over some of the other companies that sell these parasitic wasps) because Arbico has their own insectorium where they raise/breed their own bugs. Plus, I pay less for the same amount of bugs (and often more bugs)than from other companies. I know I can always pick up the phone and call Arbico and they will be more than willing to answer questions and help in any way they can. Their customer service is unbelievable!
