Purchase: I got this on line, new, from Horse Saddle Shop. I paid $620 including shipping. It was said to fit the hard to fit wider backed horse.
Likes: The saddle is very comfortable to ride in. It is light weight and because the fenders are codura it doesn't put strain on your knees . It is well made and the stitching and workmanship it top quality. it doesn't look half bad either.
It didn't fit the horse I bought it for, but that isn't the fault of the manufacturer. It does fit another horse we have and he seems to like it a lot better than the previous saddle we were using.
Dislikes: The price could be a little less. I didn't like the plastic stirrups, but that was easily changed. Changing the stirrup length can be a little difficult sometimes as the thing you slide seems stuck on one side.
Quality: Great quality and construction. The stitching is excellent. The area where the stirrups are adjusted are heavy duty nylon with leather. The seat is well padded and very comfortable.
Summary: This is a well made saddle and if you are looking for something light weight for a bit wider, mutton withered horse, that is a bit wider in the shoulder area, this is a good choice.
