Purchase: bought at horseland adelaide, for $39.95 on sale. i wanted to replace my full leather half chaps that i had got as a hand-me-down from my riding instructor but simply could not afford it.
Likes: they look great, fit even better, and give a great feel against the horse. best of all, when they are dirty, just a wipe over with a damp cloth and good as new!! i don't think i will ever go back to real leather unless i am showing. (which will probably be in top boots anyway,). they so simple to put on quickly, and fit working, or the trail just as well. i have even done a bit of jump practice in them, for the extra flex in the ankle over my top boots.
Dislikes: shame the strap at the bottom doesn't seem to clean as perfectly as the rest of the chaps, but that is being really really fussy. :) i love these!!
Quality: haven't found any problem so far, give me a few more years to really bash them around and see what gives way first.
Summary: wish i had the money to buy a few more when they are on sale and stock them away for when these wear out. i don't think i would readily buy any others i am so happy with these.
