Purchase: I paid £44 for these from equestrianclearance.com. I got them in white for show jumping competitions.
Likes: They look nice. The material is very stretchy so comfy. The sticky bum seat is good also and quite sticky! They remain cool on even the hottest days.
Dislikes: Because I bought them in white, the pockets show up quite a lot which is annoying as I have to make sure they're really smoothed down underneath. You can also see your knickers a tiny bit.....
The 2 problems Ive found with these are that the sticky bum seam is elastic so when I sit down (on a seat, rather than on a horse luckily), it actually digs in a bit! So not very attractive as your skin bulges out a bit either side! The other thing is that they aren't good to wash. The material is very cotton like so stains are hell to get out, mine got a bit dirty on their first outing (splashed mud) and are still a bit stained now after many washes!
They were more like jods than breeches. They were tight, not loose as I expect breeches to be.
Quality: They are well made, but I do think the design could have been a bit better. For example the elastic seam on the sticky bum seat doesnt work well and the material although stretchy and very comfy doesnt wash well, which lets face it is a big problem with white jods!
Summary: They are quite nice, but you need to only use them on nice days where they won't get dirty! And dont sit down too much in them if your worried about your skin bulging round the sides of the elastic sticky bum seat! Otherwise they did the job fine.
