Purchase: I bought this girth from Schnieder Saddlery for around $40 including the shipping. My dressage saddle has short billets (my preference) and my horse is a bit girthy. I am trying to find a comfortable girth for him that won't break the bank.
Likes: Nothing much.
Dislikes: First, the elastic. I have never seen a girth with elastic as cheaply done as on this girth. There are four very thin strips of elastic for each buckle, and these strips are not even sewn together. They are flimsy and give the impression they could break easily. Secondly, the girth is narrower than an average leather or neoprene girth, though it looks wide in the catalog. Third - the girth consists of a narrow cheap webbing covered with the neoprene which tends to crease a bit. You have to be careful to be sure you smooth it out before pulling it tight or you'll be risking girth galls.
