Purchase: I bought this used for $190 10 months ago from a girl on barrelhorseworld. A boarder at my barn recommended SaddleRight to me when I was searching for the best pad I could get.
Likes: I like the color.
Dislikes: I don't like the suede top, it leaves stains on my horse from the dye, gets dirty very easily, and looks gross overall even though I take care to keep it as clean as possible. I know this pad must be compressing on my horse's back.
Quality: The construction is good as far as I can tell. The stitching is even.
Summary: I bought this thinking that with a lifetime guarantee against compression it was a good deal! Wrong! I've been through 3 saddles thinking that the white/dry/painful spots on my horse's back were from poor saddle fits. They weren't, and the common denominator is this pad, I don't have a problem when using a different type of pad. I had a saddle fitter out because I thought this was a saddling issue, so I have a professional opinion that my saddle does indeed fit my horse. They are trying to sell me a recover job for $95 as a solution. I wouldn't buy another one.
