Purchase: I bought it from aretesaddlery.com and paid around $90 with shipping. I bought it to help saddle fitting on a hard-to-fit horse that was lacking muscle.
Likes: EVERYTHING! It's easy to remove, replace, and order more shims. The cover is machine washable. The foam conforms to the horse's back nicely as it warms. There is a lot of airflow under the pad. My horse responded very well to it, rounding his back easier and his gaits became more fluid. I sent in pictures of my horse and saddle I was trying to fit and they custom tailored the pad for no extra charge!

Quality: Very high quality construction using 100% USA made materials.
Summary: Definitely a great pad! Now that my horse has built muscle and the saddle fits well, I use the pad without the shims as a general shock absorbing pad. The base foam does a great job for this and it doesn't change the saddle fit (without the shims).
