Purchase: I wanted a saddle pad that was red, and that would last a while. I got it for christmas, out of a magazine ( not sure which one, maybe valley vet). I believe my mother paid around $50 for it.
Likes: Its very durable. I've had it for almost 3 years now, and for almost a whole year i used it almost every day. I liked that it had colors to choose from. My saddle never slipped with pad on, and i liked how easy it was to clean (take a brush and whip off). Also i liked it's versatility, i used it with round skirted barrel saddles, and i put it under saddle blankets for western pleasure and it worked well.
Dislikes: I noticed after about 6 moths that certain spots was getting wore down, the withers mostly. Mostly because of this i stopped using it constantly, and stopped using it on the horse i had been using it on.
Quality: Very well made, but its best to use with an already fitted saddle.
Summary: I really did like this pad. If your looking for something cheap, and will last you awhile, this is it.
