Jumping Saddles

Manufacturer: CWD
Model: Vega
Category: Jumping Saddles

Purchase: I was given a CWD Vega by my trainer who hated seeing me ride in a close contact Crosby Hunterdon. I know the Vega's are around $3500 brand new. So i was really lucky to have this one given to me for free when it was only used a handful of times.

Likes: I love the super soft supple leather. Its like butter! The seat feels like memory foam, extremely soft and comfortable, the knee rolls and blocks make the saddle feel extremely secure. It wraps around your legs and puts you into the perfect position giving even the most inexperienced rider PERFECT equitation! When i jump my horse 3'9''-4'0'' i still have perfect EQ, and i feel like im in perfect rhythm with my horse. Its almost cheating because it molds so well to your body. I absolutely love this saddle, it fits my horse fantastic and it makes me look like a million bucks.

Dislikes: The only thing i can say i dont like is how short the billets are. It makes it hard to tack up when using a normal sized girth. You almost need to go the next size up. Also the leather on the pommel is so buttery soft that if your saddle slips back at all or if you rub it the wrong way when dismounting it tends to tear up the leather. I only ride in breeches because the leather is so sensitive.

Quality: The quality is incredible. I recommend this to everyone! Its perfect for every age or experience. Truly worth every penny!

Summary: Amazing saddle!
