Purchase: I got this saddle through a hunter/jumper elite edition catalog from Dover Saddlery. I acquired this saddle because I needed it for showing. The saddle cost me $1999.00 which is actual inexpensive for the quality.
Likes: From the first ride, this saddle had that broken in feeling. The leather is top of the line quality. I have used this saddle at many shows and on trails, going through shrubs and water, and it is in perfect condition. It is also great because you can do flatwork, dressage, jumping, and pleasure riding in it. I ordered this saddle in ebony color and it is perfect because it close enough to black so that it looks classy on my gold bay mare but it is also brown enough so that it fits right in with the brown color fashion of hunters and jumpers. Also, when I spend ten hours in this saddle at a show my butt never is sore and I am extremely comfy in it the whole time!
Dislikes: There is nothing that I don't like about this saddle. But that is what anyone should expect if they buy a great quality saddle that is made with the best. I LOVE THIS SADDLE! And so does MY HORSE!
Quality: Smooth leather! Deeper seat which is good for cross- country and dressage. It has round French panels which is perfect for jumping. Concealed knee rolls allow plenty of room for your knee to move. It is wool stuffed so it is comfortable for the rider and the horse... which is important.
Summary: I love this saddle! I am going to use it for the rest of my life and I plan to do A LOT of prestigious showing!! I recommend this to anyone who wants an awesome saddle for at home schooling or showing!
