Purchase: I bought these breeches at a local tack shop. Price was $56.00. They are available in most equestrian equipment catalogs for around the same price.
Likes: Very stretchy fabric forgives a few pounds in either direction without having to buy a new size. Fit is comfortable, I bought the ladies' longs because of my height (5'9") and the length was perfect.
They are lightweight enough to be very comfortable in hot weather.
Dislikes: I am very pleased with these, nothing bad to report.
Quality: I was happy to see they used a METAL zipper for the fly. Plastic zippers just do not hold up well.
They are made of a mostly cotton blend that is lightweight but not "cheap" and stretchy enough to be comfortable but not baggy.
I recommend washing them inside out in cold water with mild soap. I also used liquid fabric softener and line-dried them. I bought black and so far the color is not fading.
Summary: Good value, durability and style. Maybe not tough enough for someone who would be riding in them more than one or two times a week but worth the money for the quality.
