Purchase: I bought this saddle at an auction for $375.00. This saddle package included the saddle, bridle, and breastplate.
Likes: The color was a nice dark oil with nice tooling and some simple silver accents. It also had a very "together" look with the matching bridle and breastplate.
Dislikes: The narrow gullet didn't fit my round-as-a-barrel Paint but that's a horse issue not a saddle issue.
Quality: I was impressed with the quality of the leather. For the price, it far surpassed what I have seen elsewhere for tons more money. It was only marginally more expensive than a synthetic saddle!
Summary: This Buffalo Saddlery unit was good quality for the money. Had it fit my fat Paint, I would gladly have kept it and shown with it!
