Purchase: I just bought my horse 6 months and I was in need for a saddle. My mom had a English saddle and had no use for it. This girl was interested in the saddle. Turned out she had a barrel racing trophy saddle. So we decided to trade. When I got the saddle home my mom tried it on her horse Coco, but it wouldn't fit. So I took it.
Likes: The saddle is conformable, and it has the district and what division you had in the NBHA. It has a chocolate colored seat too. But besides that NOTHING.
Dislikes: Just in 6 months, this saddle has a weird color because my legs rub the saddle. It turned like a black charcoal color. The legs flaps STRETCHED and they keep on stretching. The saddle stretched also up in the gullet and shoulder area. This saddle could probably only sell for $250. This saddle is only good for trophies and just for awards. But as far as riding FORGET IT.
Quality: The quality of this saddle is very cheep. The leather stretches and it may slip off your horse.
Summary: If you see anyone selling this saddle do not waste any money. This is a trophy saddle and is not good for riding unless you want to deal with the problems I have had. I would just use it for decorations, or just as a back up saddle. I am only using mine because I have no money to buy the saddle I want. Also this saddle does get an ugly color, the black charcoal color where your legs rub. I also have this color where my legs do not rub! I have no idea where they have came from.
