Purchase: I found these boots on the devon-aire website as i was in desperate need of new boots with a low price range. I paid $89.95 before shipping.
Likes: The price i liked, obviously, you cant go wrong for anything under $100! But that was about the only thing i did like.
Dislikes: The boots themselves looked cheap. The "leather like appearance" looks more like cheap plastic and feels like it too. The boots were very stiff and just getting my foot in was hard enough trying to bend them. Also, there were horrendously tall. I'm a little below average (about 5'3) and the tops of the boots came just over my knee! if you counted the spanish top, they were about 2.5 inches over my knee cap. My friend, who is 5'7, tried them on and they just barely fit her. Their sizing on the site said they were 3 inches shorter than they actually are. Devon-aire made it very difficult to return as well. Took me about 3 months to finally get my money back. If your looking for a pair of boots to just wear around the barn for an inexpensive price, just go with a plain pair of rubber boots. If your looking for a nice pairs for shows, I'd just buy leather. At least that way if there too tall, you can get them shortened.
Quality: The quality was very mediocre. They looked like plastic, and seemed like they'd be very hard to break in.
Summary: If your looking for a pair of inexpensive boots, go with rubber. If your looking for something a little more flashy, just spend the extra 30 or 40 dollars and get leather. I would not recommend these boots to anyone.
