Purchase: My horse is barefoot, and I needed protection on rocky trails. I bought these in Switzerland from Hauptner, cost 70 CHF aprox.
Likes: Even though the fit is not 100% perfect (my mare has slightly deformed feet) they work really well. I am really pleased; they are easy to put on, and take off...and stay in place perfectly (no twisting or rubbing).
Dislikes: They could maybe be a bit tougher...I have had them a few months, and already they are looking a beat up, and have a hole in the boot (not sure what happened, but better the boot than the hoof). However, I like the boots so much that I don't care that much.
Quality: Great design, very lightweight...so if the compromise is that they don't wear so well, I will live with it.
Summary: Bottom line is that I love the boots and will be purchasing more.
