Purchase: I bought this saddle second hand. I payed $200 for it, but I am unaware of the original price. I have currently had it for about two months, but it appears to be an 80s model because of the stirrup adjustments.
Likes: This saddle is absolutely my favorite. The tooling on the saddle is very unique, and it catches the eye. It has a nice, comfy suede seat that keeps your comfortable and secure at the same time.
Dislikes: The horn had rawhide around it(not the think roping kind, but the kind you would find on a barrel saddle). It is beginning to chip off, but that could be because of the wear through the years. Other than that, there is not much that I find wrong with it. And of course, because it is an off brand, that always brings down the value.
Quality: As for quality, I am VERY pleased. For being an off brand saddle, the leather is top notch. The wool under the saddle has stayed, and we have not had to reflock it. The rawhide around the horn is beginning to chip, but that could be because of age.
Summary: Overall, I was very pleased with this saddle. There are not many Circle W around, but if you find one, I definitely suggest you check it out, because it could easily be compared to higher priced brands such as Circle Y or Tex Tan.
