Purchase: I bought these at my local feed/tack store for around $30. I needed boots to protect my horse's front feet from over-reaching and pulling shoes. My trainer recommended I try this type of boot instead of my pull-on rubber bell boots.
Likes: I like that they come in lots of colors, and that the Velcro is sturdy and stitched to the boot well.
Dislikes: Sizing is VERY inconsistent! I have a 14.3h horse, so I bought medium boots. Too small, so I drove back to the store and exchanged them for a large pair. One fit well, one didn't. I thought perhaps my mare's leg was swollen. Then I measured the top of the boot- one is an inch and a half smaller around the top than the other! The Kevlar binding is shredded, too, after only one month of use.
Quality: Armour Tex back panel will outlast the rest of the boot. Stitching is holding up well.
Summary: Crappy product. Try Professionals Choice or some other brand. At the very least, take a tape measure with you, and check to see that boots are the same size before you buy them!
