Model: Maestoso Deluxe with Biomex Seat
Category: Dressage Saddles
Purchase: Stubben custom saddle fitter. Paid $3150
Likes: I purchased extra wide for my Aralusian (1/2 Arabian, 1/2 Andalusian). I looked at many dressage saddles, including other Stubbens, a Butet, A Hermes and Wintecs, but as soon as I sat in the Maestoso, it was a perfect fit. My seat and my legs simply fell into place. My horse seemed to move forward much more freely and I felt like I was going with the motion, rather than fighting it. The saddle was pricey but well worth it.
Dislikes: There is nothing I dislike about this saddle.
Quality: The biomex seat is extremely comfortable. The leather is soft and flexible and allows close contact.
Summary: I would definitely recommend this saddle to anyone who is having problems with rider balance and contact in dressage work.
Usefulness Rating: 0.5 out of 5.
