Likes: My 20 y.o. thin-skinned TB absolutely cannot stand mosquitoes and when we trail ride they attack in full force. I have tried every fly spray known to man for horse and actually use Deep woods Off for the trail. I bought this after hoping for years that someone would make a rideable fly sheet. I was a little skeptical at first but IT WORKS. It fits my 16.3 Gelding fine with room to spare.
Dislikes: The only thing I didn't like at first when I got it was that I thought we would look like dorks riding in this thing! :) Of course comfort and well-being of my horse is first & foremost so I got over that real quick. Now, my friend and I joke that I'm riding "The Dark Knight" avenging mosquitos on the trail!
Quality: This is our second summer using it and it has held up perfectly. I machine wash it in cold on my 'hand wash' cycle and air dry it. It is a lightweight black mesh with long ties for both pieces so you can adjust it to fit.
Summary: Definitely worth the money, IT WORKS! It's holding up great and I am seriously considering ordering a second one to keep on hand in case they ever discontinue it, it's that good!
