Likes: This is a very attractive, comfortable saddle. It is well-made and the velcro panels are easy to move and they seem to stay put. The seat is well-padded and comfy. Ann, at Bellagio, is very nice to deal with.
Dislikes: I swapped the pommel for a narrower size and it was NOT easy; it took almost 45 minutes and a lot of elbow grease, so I'd say they overstate how easy that is. Also, the rings/screws that hold the saddle onto the saddle are positioned in such a way that it bruises your inner thighs if you slip forward at all. The biggest problem is the center fire rigging; the rear billet strap cuts across my horse's ribs and he is pulling back and panicking every time I try to saddle him. This didn't start in earnest til after the trial period was over, so now I am stuck with a saddle that I can't use.
Quality: The leather is very soft and supple and the saddle is light-weight and easy to use. It didn't come with stirrups or girth (even though it was supposed to be a demo saddle), so make sure you have those on hand if you want to try it out.
Summary: It's a nice saddle, but it's expensive and hard to try out since they ship from Rhode Island and take up to two weeks to arrive on west coast.
