Purchase: I just bought this saddle as a demo model at Saddlers Row in Palatine, IL for the great price of $1199.
Likes: I have been looking for a dressage saddle to fit my just turned 5 yo paint gelding. I am tall and need an 18" seat - this saddle fits my long long great. The seat is nice and deep and the twist is a medium narrow, which is nice and comfortable. As for my horse, not only does the saddle fit great with a nice wide channel, but the tree can also be sized up or down as he changes with training.
Dislikes: The billets seem a bit cheap - not hard at all, just not nearly as nice as the leather on the panels and seat/knee rolls (I guess this isn't a big deal since they get replaced throughout the life of the saddle anyways!)
Quality: VERY well made and beautiful saddle. The stitching is nice and tight - leather is super soft and smooth - the saddle is well balanced.
Summary: This saddle is great and I am really enjoying it (my horse too)!
Usefulness Rating: 3.07692 out of 5.
