Jumping Saddles

For Sale on eBay

Manufacturer: Harry Dabbs
Model: Yves Cazeneuve
Category: Jumping Saddles

Purchase: I bought my first US horse in 1997 (I'm originally from France) Long story short when I got to the tack store I immediately was drawn to this saddle it was designed by well known French jumper Yves Cazeneuve for Harry Dabbs in the 90's, it was super comfy and fit my budget $400 used. I tried many other saddles that day but it still seemed the most comfortable so I just bought it.

Likes: This saddle bought 12 years ago and used at least 2-3 times a week since has been used on 5 different horses, fits them all with appropriate pads underneath, is still as comfortable as the first time I rode in it and the leather has held up really nicely even though I didn't take perfect care of it (can I say lazy lol) I use it for flat work, jumping, showing, I usually jump/show 3'-3'3 level but have jumped up over 4 feet in it and it still felt balanced and supportive...

Dislikes: Nothing aside that it is 16.5 inch and 12 years and 15 pounds later I now feel I need a 17 inch one (huh huh)

Quality: Great construction, super soft leather on the seat and sturdy flaps, nothing has broken or fallen apart yet...

Summary: I really wish they hadn't stopped making this saddle, I've been desperately watching online auctions/tack sites to find a 17 inch one in good condition and affordable (last one I saw was twice what I paid 12 years ago), but haven't had any chance yet, they come and sell super quickly if priced right... If you find one, trust me buy it, you won't regret it....and if you have one to sell Find me!!! :)
