Purchase: My first Tucker I bought used off the internet for 900.00.It is a square skirt with floral tooling. When they came out with the extra wide tree I decided to order it from local tack store in light oil and it was 1375.00
Likes: These saddles feel so comfortable and secure to ride in. I have back problems and after I got the Tucker I had no more sciatica after riding.I was in a Billy Cook barrel saddle and now I wonder how I ever stood it for so long. They also fit so well to the horse and have an awesome felt padding system underneath instead of the usual fleece which packs down after time.One of my horses was getting small dry spots on each side of the withers with the wide tree so I went to the extra wide and it is a perfect fit on my tank of a horse with mutton withers.
Dislikes: I wish it was a little lighter weight but at 28lbs it is still not heavy to most and my new round skirt is only 25lbs.
Quality: Excellent quality leather and workmanship.Leather just gets softer and more pliable with time and no squeaking while you ride like my Circle Y did no matter how much I oiled it.Options were many when ordering and the enduro rigging is awesome for keeping the saddle in place on a round horse.
Summary: I think this is a wonderful saddle and the gel seat is so great for long rides and back problems. Also it puts you in a more balanced and correct seat on your horse.
